here is a video for a new vacation song called ‘Michael the Visitor’

it will be on our debut album (full band, recorded in a real studio!) that will be released in the summer/fall of 13. ‘michael the visitor’ will be the closing track. it might be called ‘the ground state of the fields’ or maybe ‘wrinkles’

it will definitely not be a self-titled album. i hate self-titled albums. we do however expect at least an 8.6 rating on pitchfork, fingers crossed. if its lower than that then i will give up on music.

Fossil Cities is one of my old bands. We released a few ep’s waaaaaaay

back in 2010 which isnt really that long ago but in a blog/music site timeframe

they may as well have been released in 1972. aaaaanyway, they could only be found on

the internet through some old, beat up mediafire links on my old, beat up blogspot site

The band consisted of myself and Rebecca Doerfer, who records under the name Brown

Bread and also part of a duo called Brown Bread & Von Holt. I thought the songs were

good then and I think they are still good now. They are streaming on soundcloud and

can also be downloaded for free on soundcloud or on that old, beat up blogspot site

(the mediafire links are still alive!)
